FAQs & Support
It worked - will it work every night?
Quite possibly, but dreaming is very unpredictable. The more often you use Dream:ON and report your dreams, the more we can fine-tune the app.
It did not work for me - will it ever work?
Lucid and controlled dreaming comes naturally to some, but can take years to perfect. What we are offering is a possible faster route to unlock your ability to have lucid and controlled dreams. Dream:ON comes complete with a smart alarm clock, so you will always have a better awakening even if it takes time for you to influence your dreams.
How does Dream:ON work?
Dream:ON monitors sleep. When you enter the rapid eye movement (REM) stage of sleep where dreaming is most common, we deliver unique audio soundscapes which your subconscious is shown to respond to. Dream:ON is powered by a state-of-the-art engine which constantly monitors and adjusts the behaviour of Dream:ON; optimising the experience for our users.
Can I suggest a SoundScape?
By all means! Why not follow us on Twitter @DreamOnApp.
Is Dream:ON safe to use?
Dreaming is a perfectly natural state of mind. If you should experience any unforseen or undesired effects, you should stop using Dream:ON.
Is Dream:ON coming to Android?
Yes - we are planning a launch later in 2012.
Why do you charge for some SoundScapes?
We made the decision to give away Dream:ON to allow as many people as possible the chance to try it. If Dream:ON works for you then by purchasing SoundScapes you support us. This in turn allows us to continue to develop Dream:ON.
We will be adding free and paid SoundScapes to the app every month.
Who's involved in the Dream:ON project?
The Dream:ON app is developed and maintained by YUZA, a mobile experience team based in London. Professor Richard Wiseman launched the app at the Edinburgh International Science Festival 2012.
